Calcitriol is the active form of Vitamin D. It raises Vitamin D levels in your blood. This in turn raises calcium levels in your blood by helping you absorb more calcium from your intestine. Calcium citrate malate is a water-soluble calcium supplement. It increases the plasma calcium levels. Vitamin K2-7 plays a central role in the metabolism of calcium, the main mineral found in your bones and teeth. Vitamin K2-7 activates the calcium-binding actions of two proteins : matrix GLA protein and osteocalcin, which help to build and maintain bone health. Zinc oxide is a necessary trace element in the diet, forming an essential part of many enzymes, and playing an important role in protein synthesis and in cell division.
