How Betahistine + Domperidone works

Betahistine + Domperidone is a combination of two medicines: Betahistine and Domperidone which relieve symptoms of Ménière’s disease. Betahistine is a histamine analog which works by improving blood flow in the inner ear. This lowers the build-up of fluid pressure in the inner ear. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach.
