Pentoxifylline(400 mg)

Uses

Pentovas 400mg tablet is used in the treatment of peripheral vascular disease (poor circulation to the arms and legs) and intermittent claudication (pain on walking or at rest caused by poor circulation to the legs).

How it works

Pentovas 400mg tablet reduces the action of a protein called phosphodiesterase making erythrocyte membrane more resistant to deformity. It also decreases blood viscosity and promotes proper blood flow thereby relieving pain.

Nausea, Abdominal bloating, Agitation, Aseptic meningitis, Biliary obstruction, Bleeding, Blood in vomit, Blood in stool, Diarrhoea, Dizziness, Headache, Altered heart rate, Skin bleeding, Skin redness, Tachycardia, Vomiting
