Pancreatin(170 mg)


Pancreatin is used as a supplement in the treatment of pancreatic exocrine insufficiency (condition in which pancreatic juice is not produced enough to digest the food).

How it works

Pancreatin belongs to class of drugs called digestive enzymes. It contains enzymes like amylase, lipase and protease which help in digesting the food.

• Drink plenty of water when taking pancreatin.
• Avoid taking pancreatin in higher than recommended dose if you are suffering from cystic fibrosis (a genetic disorder which characterized by formation of thick mucus in lungs, pancreas and intestine).
