How Akynzeo Solution for Infusion works
Akynzeo I.V. Solution for Infusion is a combination of two medicines: Netupitant and Palonosetron. These medicines work by blocking the release of chemicals (serotonin and substance P) which cause nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy. They help prevent nausea and vomiting during both the acute and delayed phase after cancer chemotherapy.
