Corn, also known as Maize, is one of the most popular cereal grains in the world. It contains various nutrients and phytochemicals (such as carotenoids and phytosterols) that play a very important role in managing various diseases. Corn flour is also very beneficial for health as it contains important B vitamins, iron, potassium, magnesium and other nutrients. Apart from Corn, Corn silk (which are long strands attached to an ear of corn) is also used for medicinal purposes.
