Celery
Celery or Ajmoda is a plant whose leaves and stalk are commonly used as a part of a healthy diet. The word Celery means “quick acting” and is used for many purposes.
Celery being rich in water content helps to keep the body hydrated and removes toxins from the body. It manages indigestion and constipation by improving the gut health due to its high fiber content. Eating Celery leaves gives a feeling of fullness and prevents overeating thereby assisting in weight management.
Celery might also help manage the symptoms of gout by reducing pain and inflammation due to its anti-inflammatory property. It manages cholesterol levels by lowering the total blood cholesterol as well as bad cholesterol (LDL) levels due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
