The revised GST rates are effective from 22nd September 2025. Any purchase billed on or after this date will reflect the new rates, so you will see the benefits immediately.
The MRP on the product is printed by the manufacturer, not by the retailer or dispensing pharmacies. Even if the printed MRP on the product package hasn't changed, you are still charged a lower effective price at billing (post 22nd September).
- To ensure the applicable products are mandated with benefits, we have revised the MRP of products in the system as per applicable GST rate, which will be reflected directly in the billing summary.
- Your invoice clearly shows the GST rate applied, with both the original and revised MRP. This ensures you always pay the revised lower price.
Yes. For example, if a product cost ₹1000 (incl. 12% GST) earlier:
- Before: Base value ₹892.85 + GST (12%) ₹107.15 = ₹1000
- After (with 5% GST): Base value ₹892.85 + GST (5%) ₹44.65 = ₹937.5
So, you pay ₹62.5 less for the same product.
Discounts/offers are business decisions and may vary. However, the base price already reflects GST benefits, so you continue to enjoy lower prices along with any promotional offers.
No. The revised rates apply only from 22nd September 2025 onwards. Purchases made before this date are not eligible for a refund of the GST difference.
