Expert advice for Theophylline + Ambroxol + Salbutamol
  • You have been prescribed Theophylline + Ambroxol + Salbutamol for the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
  • It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. Always keep a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you.
  • If at any time your breathing gets worse or you notice muscle twitching or weakness, or an irregular heartbeat, please contact your doctor or nurse for advice straightaway.
  • Inform your doctor if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, or diabetes.
  • Tell your doctor about all other medicines you have used in the past 14 days, especially water pills, anti-depressant, or medicines for heart problems.
  • Do not smoke. Smoking causes irritation and damage to the lungs and will make your condition worse.
