Silver Sulfadiazine + Chlorhexidine Gluconate + Aloe Vera + Allantoin is a combination of four medicines. Silver Sulfadiazine is an antibiotic. It stops the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication. Chlorhexidine Gluconate is an antiseptic. It works by killing harmful microorganisms and cleans the affected area. Aloe Vera is a plant. Its extracts form a protective layer on the skin by restoring moisture, so that it feels hydrated and refreshed. Allantoin is a skin protectant that works as a moisturizer and relieves minor skin irritations.
