Dactinomycin Uses
Dactinomycin is used in the treatment of testicular cancer, Wilms' tumor, gestational trophoblastic neoplasia and Ewing's sarcoma.
How Dactinomycin works
Dactinomycin is an anti-cancer medication. It works by damaging the genetic material (DNA) of the cancer cells and stops their growth and multiplication.
Common side effects of Dactinomycin
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Nausea, Vomiting, Rash, Difficulty in swallowing, Hair loss, Fatigue, Fever, Liver toxicity, Anemia (low number of red blood cells), Decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils), Mucositis
