Aflapin

Aflapin is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis.

Aflapin is a 5-LOX inhibitor. It works by suppressing an enzyme (5-lipoxygenase) which is responsible for joint pain, swelling and stiffness. It also protects the cartilage (soft tissue that cushions the joints). Overall, it helps improve physical function and mobility.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
