    6 steps to safety

Our 6 pillar approach to make lab tests COVID-19 safe encompasses the following checks:

    1. Our frontline workers comply by WHO guidelines

We follow best practices and guidelines shared by the WHO & the MoHFW. Our phlebotomists and delivery executives wear masks and gloves during all interactions with the patients. Phlebotomists are mandated to sanitize their hands before and after sample collection and wear gloves while taking blood samples. Delivery executives have been trained to strictly follow contactless delivery & social distancing.

    2. Single-use of products

To ensure utmost hygiene, we are ensuring that products like masks and gloves are disposed off after each use. Ofcourse, like always, our needles, swabs and other products are always fresh/sterile and discarded after every use.

    3. Daily temperature checks of all frontline workers

Our teams monitor the health of all phlebotomists, delivery executives and other frontline workers on a regular basis. We are ensuring that all of our staff is healthy and fit to serve you.

    4. Aarogya Setu app for safe interaction

Our phlebotomists, delivery executives and other staff are mandated to use the Aarogya Setu app to track their social interaction and ensure safety status. We check their status and risk levels from the app daily. Our phlebotomists can also show their safety status to you before sample collection.

    5. Sanitized workplace ensures infections don’t reach you

All our Pre Analytical Centres (PAC) are disinfected daily and have been stocked with hand sanitizers at every entry and exit instance. We have suspended all non essential walk-ins at the PAC.

    6. You get to meet only trained staff

Our team of expert doctors have personally trained the phlebotomists regarding the Dos and Don'ts of the COVID-19 disease. Furthermore, educational material and posters are actively used to reinforce the SOPs.

    Lend us a hand

While we are prepared to serve you with safety and care of the highest level, a little help from you will make our safety mission even more successful. Please ensure to take these precautions during your interaction with our phlebotomists, or any other essential service provider you meet:

Maintain social distancing as much as possible. Generally, a distance of about two arm’s length (6 feet) is recommended. However, allow your phlebotomist to comfortably take the sample.

Wear a face mask/face cover while interacting with phlebotomists and giving test samples. This acts as an extra layer of protection.

Ask the person taking your sample to explain about the test/process, if you are anxious.

Wash your hands before and after giving samples to be double sure about safety. The most effective way to clean your hands is to rub them for at least 20 seconds . Don't forget the part between your fingers, and under your nails.

Download and use the Aarogya Setu app to keep track of the coronavirus situation in your locality.

Opt for contactless delivery and digital payments. Keep you and your family members safe from the possibility of currency related infections: currency gets circulated, and increases the risk for both you and the health worker.

Your safety is our top-most priority. We are committed to combating the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) by adapting the right practices. Meanwhile, you can reach out to us at 01204452675 in case of any queries.
