Panchsakar Churna is made by mixing five ingredients that are Ginger, Rock salt, Myrobalan, Fennel seeds, and Seena leaves in equal quantities. It has excellent laxative properties and helps in relieving chronic constipation. Panchsakar Churna also contains carminative agents which help in expelling gas from the stomach and thus reduce bloating and flatulence. It is best to be taken with lukewarm water at night before going to bed to have a good bowel movement the next day [2]. 1. Constipation
Constipation is a painful condition in which a person faces difficulty in emptying the bowels completely or passing out hard and dry stools. According to Ayurveda, constipation is caused due to an aggravated Vata dosha. Consuming junk foods, excess intake of coffee or tea, and sleeping late at night are some of the factors that aggravate Vata dosha.
