Exemestane ला स्तनाचा कर्करोगच्या उपचारात वापरले जाते.

Exemestane शरीरामध्ये निर्माण झालेल्या एस्ट्रोजनच्या (एक नैसर्गिक स्त्री संप्रेरक) मात्रेला कमी करुन काम करते. यह स्तन कॅन्सरच्या वाढीला कमी करते किंवा थांबवते ज्यांच्या वाढीसाठी एस्ट्रोजनमध्ये वाढ होणे आवश्यक असते.
