How Vincristine + Mannitol works
Vincristine + Mannitol is a combination of two medicines. Vincristine is an anticancer medicine. It works by inhibiting the duplication of genetic materials (DNA and RNA) that is required for cell growth and multiplication of the cancer cells. The addition of Mannitol allows Vincristine to enter the brain by opening the blood-brain barrier and act against the cancer cells.
