How Relugolix works
Relugolix works by decreasing the amount of testosterone (a male hormone) produced by the body. This may slow or stop the spread of prostate cancer cells that need testosterone to grow.

You should take Relugolix exactly as your doctor prescribed. Swallow each pill whole, do not crush or chew them.
You can take Relugolix during the day or night, with or without food. Just be sure to take it around the same time each day for maximum benefits.
If it has been 12 hours or less since you were supposed to take Relugolix, take it as soon as possible. If it has been more than 12 hours since you were supposed to take it, do not take the missed dose. Take your next dose at your regular time the next day.
