Progesterone is a progesterone (female hormone). It works on the lining of the uterus and helps to establish and maintain pregnancy in infertile women. It helps in protecting the uterus from the negative effects of oestrogen when used for the treatment of postmenopausal symptoms.

For best results, take it strictly as per the advice of your doctor. The number of doses you take each day, and the number of days depends on the medical problem being treated. It is preferred to take it with food, usually at the same time of each day to ensure consistent levels of medicine in your body.
If you miss the dose, you should take it as soon as possible. If it is almost the time for your next dose, do not take the missed dose, instead, continue the usual dosing schedule.
