How Metronidazole + Diloxanide + Dimethicone works
Metronidazole + Diloxanide + Dimethicone is a combination of three medicines: Metronidazole , Diloxanide and Dimethicone. Metronidazole is an antibiotic which kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging their DNA. Diloxanide is a luminal amoebicide which acts inside the intestines to kill the infection-causing microorganisms (amoeba). It is added in case of severe intestinal infections. Dimethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
