Manganese is used to prevent and treat manganese deficiency. It is used as a supplement to treat weakened bones in osteoporosis, anemia, and in premenstrual syndrome (symptoms include acne, tender breasts, bloating, feeling tired, irritability, and mood changes before menstruation).

How it works

Manganese belongs to a class of drugs called as micronutrients. It is an essential mineral element of the body required for number of physiological processes like bone formation. It is also a part of multiple enzymes and enzyme activators.
