How Disodium Hydrogen Citrate + Paracetamol + Sorbitol works
Disodium Hydrogen Citrate + Paracetamol + Sorbitol is a combination of three medicines. Disodium Hydrogen Citrate is a urine alkalizer. It works by increasing the pH of urine which makes it less acidic. This helps the kidneys get rid of excess uric acid, thereby preventing gout and certain types of kidney stones. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain. Sorbitol works by drawing water into the intestine through osmosis, which makes the stool soft and easier to pass.
