How Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone works
Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone is a combination of two medicines: Clotrimazole and Hydrocortisone which treat fungal skin infections. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Hydrocortisone is a steroid. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy.
Common side effects of Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
