Amorolfine Topical is used in the treatment of fungal infections, skin infections, nail infections, fungal infections of mouth (Thrush) and dandruff.
How Amorolfine Topical works
Amorolfine belongs to a class of medications called as nail lacquers. It inhibits the steroid synthesis in fungal cell membrane, thereby killing the fungi and curing the infection.
Common side effects of Amorolfine Topical

Expert advice for Amorolfine Topical
  • Avoid use of nail varnishes and artificial nails during treatment. Clean and file your nails carefully before applying amorolfine. 
  • Do not share your nail-filer with others to prevent spread of infection. 
  • Avoid contact of the solution/ cream with eyes, ears and mucous membranes (e.g. mouth and nostrils). In case of accidental contact, wash the exposed area and contact your doctor immediately. 
  • Use impermeable gloves while working with organic solvents such as paint thinners, white spirit etc. in order to protect the amorolfine lacquer on the nails.
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
  • Do not use if you are allergic to amorolfine or to any of its ingredients.
