How Ammonium Chloride + Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Guaifenesin + Levocetirizine works
Ammonium Chloride + Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Guaifenesin + Levocetirizine is a combination of four medicines: Ammonium Chloride , Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide , Guaifenesin and Levocetirizine. Ammonium Chloride and Guaifenesin are expectorants. They work by decreasing the stickiness of airway secretions and help in their removal from the airways. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) which may trigger cough due to allergy.
