Amlodipine+Hydrochlorothiazide+Valsartan is used in the treatment of Hypertension (high blood pressure).
How Amlodipine + Hydrochlorothiazide + Valsartan works
Amlodipine + Hydrochlorothiazide + Valsartan is a combination of three medicines: Amlodipine , Hydrochlorothiazide , and Valsartan. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker and Valsartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). Both work by relaxing blood vessels and make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic. It lowers blood pressure and fluid retention in edema by removing the extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.
