Concurrent use of Chloramphenicol and Methylcobalamin/Mecobalamin should not be done.Chloramphenicol causes bone marrow depression (decrease in production of blood cells) which can oppose the action of anemia by Methylcobalamin/Mecobalamin and Vitamin B12. Where possible, prefer using a different antibacterial.
