Cheese

Cheese is a dairy product prepared from milk. It is available in a wide range of flavors and textures. Cheese can be healthy depending on the type and the amount consumed. It is a good source of calcium which is essential for healthy bones and teeth. Excess consumption of Cheese should be avoided as it is high in calories, salt and saturated fat.

1. Healthy Bones
Cheese is rich in calcium and is good for growing children and women. Including Cheese in your diet helps to maintain a normal level of calcium and mineral in the body. Cheese has Guru (heavy) and Kapha increasing properties and helps to build a strong body.
Tips:
a. Take 2 teaspoon of grated Cheese.
b. Add to vegetables like baked cauliflower or broccoli.
c. Have it with breakfast or lunch.

2. Athlete body
Eating full-fat Cheese is good to maintain an athlete body with strong muscles. This is because Cheese increases Kapha which promote Rasa Dhatu in the body. Rasa Dhatu helps in nourishing the body, making it healthier and strong.
