How to use tea tree oil to reduce acne

Tea tree oil is known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, making it a popular natural remedy for acne. But since it’s quite potent, using it the right way is key to seeing results without irritating your skin.

Mix 1–2 drops of tea tree oil with 1 tablespoon of a carrier oil like coconut oil, jojoba oil, or almond oil.

Dilute the Oil

Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and pat dry with a soft towel.

Cleanse Your Skin

Dip a cotton swab into the diluted tea tree oil and apply it directly to acne spots—avoid using it on the entire face if your skin is sensitive.
