This one's a classic but super effective! Covering your head with a wide-brimmed hat or a cotton scarf can block direct sunlight and protect both your scalp and strands from heat and UV rays.

Look for hair serums or leave-in sprays with SPF or UV filters. They form a protective layer that helps keep moisture in and sun damage out.

A few drops of these oils can act as a natural barrier against UV rays while keeping your hair soft and shiny. Bonus: they smell amazing too!

Leaving your hair open exposes a larger surface to the sun. Try loose braids or buns to reduce exposure and keep your hair safe from wind and sun-induced tangles.

If you’re hitting the pool or beach, always rinse your hair with clean water afterward. Chlorine and saltwater can dry out your hair even more under the sun.
