Coffee is already a bit sour, and so are these fruits. Eating them together might make your stomach too acidic and could give you tummy trouble like heartburn.

Both coffee and red meat can make your stomach produce more acid. Eating them together might increase the chance of getting an upset stomach or heartburn.

When you put milk in coffee, something in the coffee can grab onto some of the good stuff in milk, like calcium. This might mean your body doesn't get to use all the calcium. Also, if milk bothers your stomach, coffee might make it worse.

Coffee can sometimes make your food move through your body faster. Fried foods are already hard for your body to digest. Drinking coffee at the same time might make your stomach work even harder and could make you feel uncomfortable.

These cereals often have extra vitamins and minerals like iron. Coffee can make it harder for your body to take in these good things. It's usually better to eat these cereals at a different time than when you drink coffee.

Keep in mind that everyone is different. Some people might not have any problems eating these foods with coffee. But if you feel uncomfortable, it might be a good idea to eat them at different times.
