Cologenesis Diacoll Sterile Dry Collagen Sheet with Gentamicin Dressing is a collagen sheet in the form of a sponge/transparent film containing collagen and gentamicin sulphate. The collagen gentamicin implant is composed of highly purified type–I collagen obtained from bovine tendon, which acts as a vehicle for the antimicrobial gentamicin. The collagen is derived from specifically controlled and certified animals and is highly purified to avoid any antigenicity. Gentamicin sulphate is a wide-spectrum antibiotic that provides highly effective topical treatment in primary and secondary bacterial infections of the skin.

Uses:

• Second-degree burns, superficial wounds, infected wounds, skin donor sites, surgical wounds

• Pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, chronic vascular ulcers, diabetic ulcers

Directions For Use:

• Thoroughly clean and denuded areas to eliminate external contamination

• Thoroughly debride infected wounds

• Ensure satisfactory homoeostasis on skin donor sites

• Wet the sheet using saline water

• Using aseptic techniques, apply firmly on the raw area and ensure not to overstretch the sheet
