Drotin Tablet is an antispasmodic medicine. It is used in the treatment of menstrual pain and abdominal pain. It provides relief from pain due to smooth muscle spasm like menstrual pain, pain due to kidney stones, pain due to biliary stone and gastrointestinal colicky pain.

Drotin Tablet can be taken with or without food, but better to take it at the same time every day for better results. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.

The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, and dryness in the mouth. If these bother you, or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. It may also make you feel dizzy as of low blood pressure, if happens take caution while driving.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have ever had severe heart disease or have blood pressure issues, or you have liver or kidney disease. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Your doctor may check blood pressure regularly while taking this medicine.

Hi, I am feeling lot of pain during mensuration. It is not normal pain, i usually got faint with the pain. I tried to eat meftal spas but of no use. I did ultrasound and also refer to few doctors but they usually say to eat meftal spas during periods. Pleasr advise me best medicin which will help in reducing pain. Drotin Tablet is used to treat spasm of smooth muscles in organs such as stomach and heart. Drotin Tablet is mainly used to relieve painful spasms associated with chronic gastroduodenitis (inflammation of the stomach and the duodenum of the small intestine), gastric and duodenal ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome (disorder of the intestines that leads to cramps in the abdomen) and many more conditions of the stomach and intestine that are associated with painful spasm.
