Fense Gel is used to relieve pain, inflammation, and swelling in painful conditions that affect joints and muscles. It is very effective in treating strains, sprains, backache, and sports injuries. Applying it will help you go about your daily life more easily. If the injury is severe or lasts a long time, you may also need to take painkillers or you can even consider physiotherapy. Consult a doctor if you are not sure.
How to use Fense Gel
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
How Fense Gel works
Fense Gel is a combination of four medicines: Diclofenac diethylamine, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate and Menthol. Diclofenac diethylamine and Menthol are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Linseed Oil is a plant-based oil which further reduces inflammation and improves blood circulation at the site of application.It also increases the penetration of Diclofenac diethylamine through the skin. Methyl Salicylate produces a cooling effect on the skin.
