Satranidazole + Ofloxacin1 kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Satranidazole + Ofloxacin2 works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
Yes, the use of Satrogyl-O can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better if you rest for some time and resume once you feel better.
Q. Can I take Satrogyl-O along with Ibuprofen?
Few patients have had seizures (fit) on taking anti-inflammatory medicines (ibuprofen) with quinolone antibiotics (ofloxacin). This is very unlikely to happen. But to be safe, do not take ibuprofen with one of these antibiotics, unless your doctor has told you to take it.
Q. Can I take alcohol while taking Satrogyl-O?
Alcohol should not be consumed while you are taking this medicine as it may lower the blood pressure and causes dizziness and lightheadedness.

The use of Satrogyl-O should be used with caution by nursing mothers as it can lead to serious side effects. It is always better to consult your doctor before taking $nam.

Satrogyl-O, when taken along with insulin or some other diabetes medication, increases the risk of having low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). This happens due to the presence of ofloxacin in it.
