Individuals should avoid using Nidcal CL Tablet if they are allergic to any of its ingredients. It should also be avoided in cases of high blood calcium levels (hypercalcemia), severely reduced kidney function, or bone softening not caused by vitamin D deficiency. Additionally, people with esophageal problems (such as difficulty swallowing or a very narrow food pipe) or those unable to stand or sit upright for at least 30 minutes should not use Nidcal CL Tablet.
Q. What should I avoid while taking Nidcal CL Tablet?
While taking Nidcal CL Tablet, avoid lying down for at least 30 minutes afterward, as it may irritate your food pipe. Do not take calcium, antacids, or iron supplements within 2 hours of this medicine, as they can reduce its absorption. Also, avoid taking it with milk or dairy products, as they may interfere with how well it works.

During Nidcal CL Tablet treatment, contact your doctor immediately if you experience chest pain or difficulty swallowing, as these may be signs of esophageal damage.
