What is Malaria Antibody IgG?
Malaria Antibody IgG test detects antibody IgG in the blood which is produced in response to malaria. Malaria is caused by parasite and includes symptoms such as chills, flu-like symptoms, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and jaundice. The presence of igG indicated the recent past infection.
What is Malaria Antibody IgG used for?
This test is required for detecting the presence of Plasmodium spp. in the blood that causes malaria. So, if you get the symptoms of malaria such as fever with chills, headaches, malaise and sweating along with nausea, diarrhoea, you must get tested for malaria.
