USG of Inguino-Scrotal Region in New Delhi

USG (Ultrasonography) or Ultrasound of Inguino-Scrotal Region is an imaging procedure that uses ultrasound to create an image of the testicles and surrounding tissues to detect and diagnose any associated abnormalities in males.

This test is done to detect and determine the nature of abnormal mass formed in the scrotum, to determine the cause of male infertility, to assess the testicular injury due to trauma, diagnose any suspected inflammation or infections in the scrotal region, and to diagnose and locate undescended testicles.

USG is a painless and non-invasive procedure since no radiation is involved in this. Scrotal ultrasound is often performed when physical examination is inconclusive or difficult to diagnose any associated abnormalities in males.
