A CECT Orbit Head A & C or Contrast-Enhanced Computed Tomography scan of the head and orbit is an imaging method used to create cross-sectional images of the eye sockets (orbits), eyes, auditory bones, and surrounding bones. A beam of x-rays is used after injecting a contrast material to access and evaluate the regions of the bony and soft tissues in the head. These images assist physicians in detecting various disorders affecting the brain.
