What is Oligoclonal Bands?
Oligoclonal Bands is the test to detect oligoclonal bands, a type of immunoglobulins in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). CSF is the liquid that flows in the space around the spinal cord and brain and protects them. The presence of oligoclonal bands in the CSF indicates inflammation of the central nervous system.
