The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan test uses strong magnetic and radio waves to create detailed and clear 3D images. The MRI Cardiac with contrast uses a contrast dye that is injected into a patient before having the MRI scan. Contrast agents helps to improve the visibility of internal body structures in MRI. It is a radiation less test which is used to detect or monitor cardiac disease and to evaluate the hearts structure and function in patients with heart diseases. These images can be stored on an electronic device which can be printed on a film. The complete procedure takes about 40-60 minutes.
