What is ASAB?

This is a test that tries to detect the presence of antibodies that could fight against the sperm of a man in the blood, semen or the vaginal fluids. The test requires only a tiny sample of the sperm. A particular substance is added to the sperm which then binds only to the sperms that are affected.

Why is ASAB done?

This test is taken in order to determine the reason for infertility. It is also sometimes taken additionally to figure out the cause of infertility if in case previous infertility tests have failed to provide the solution.
