What is Color Doppler Upper Limb For AV Fistula?
The Color Doppler test of the upper limb for arteriovenous fistula is an ultrasound test performed to assess blood flow in the arteries and veins of the arm to guide a graft procedure named arteriovenous fistula where an artery is connected to a vein in the upper arm. The Color Doppler test creates a high resolution image of the blood flow patterns of the blood vessels which helps to assess the rate of blood flow and also helps in the placement of the AV Fistula.
