What is MRI Both Knee Joints?
A Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the Both Knee joint is used to visualize the bones of the knee joint along with the surrounding soft tissues like the cartilages, tendons, ligaments, muscles, and blood vessels. The knee joint includes the lower end of the upper leg bone (femur), the upper end of the lower leg bones (the tibia and fibula), and the kneecap (patella).
This test is prescribed by the doctor to diagnose any fracture from the knee and to diagnose any infection or abnormal growth of the bones of the knee joint.
