Xmetor 10 mg/500 mg Tablet SR is a combination medicine used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes with high cholesterol. यह भविष्य में हाेने वाले हार्ट अटैक और स्ट्रोक को रोकने में भी मदद करता है.

अगर आप ज़ेमटोर 10 एमजी/500 एमजी टैबलेट एसआर निर्धारित समय पर लेना भूल गए हैं तो जितनी जल्दी हो सके इसे ले लें. हालांकि, अगर अगली खुराक का समय हो गया है तो छूटी हुई खुराक को छोड़ दें और नियमित समय पर अगली खुराक लें. खुराक को डबल न करें.

  • Xmetor 10 mg/500 mg Tablet SR is prescribed for the treatment of diabetes in patients with high cholesterol levels.
  • Take it just after a meal or with a snack to avoid stomach problems.
  • Inform your doctor immediately if you experience any deep or rapid breathing, persistent nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. This is because Xmetor 10 mg/500 mg Tablet SR may cause a rare but serious condition called lactic acidosis, which is an excess of lactic acid in the blood.
  • इस दवा का सेवन करते समय आपका डॉक्टर आपके खून में शुगर के स्तर और किडनी के कार्यों की नियमित रूप से निगरानी करेगा.
  • Prolonged use of Xmetor 10 mg/500 mg Tablet SR may lead to vitamin B12 deficiency which may lead to anemia, causing fatigue, pale skin, shortness of breath, or headache. अगर आपको इनमें से किसी एक का अनुभव हो तो अपने डॉक्टर को सूचित करें क्योंकि आपको सप्लीमेंट की आवश्यकता हो सकती है.
  • Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) may occur when taken along with other antidiabetic medicines, alcohol, or on delaying/skipping a meal. Check your blood sugar levels and have a snack/sugar source for immediate relief.
  • If you get unusually thirsty, pass urine more frequently, and feel tired, you should let your doctor know. These are signs that there is too much sugar in your blood and your dose may need adjusting.
