Introduction
Metasulf Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of malaria. It works by stopping the growth of microorganisms and killing the existing ones that cause malaria.
It is advisable to take Metasulf Tablet at a fixed time each day to maintain consistent levels of medicine in the blood. In case you have missed any doses, take it as soon as you remember it. Never skip any doses and finish a full course of treatment even if you feel better. It may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, fatigue, feeling of fullness, dizziness and headache. It may also cause diarrhea, so its better to take plenty of fluids while taking this medicine as it may help to prevent dehydration.

मेटैसुल्फ टैबलेट कैसे काम करता है
मेटैसुल्फ टैबलेट दो दवाओं का एक मिश्रण हैःपाइरिमेथेमिन और सुल्फैडोक्साइन जो मलेरिया का इलाज करते हैं. पायरीमेथामिन एक एंटीपैरासिटिक दवा है जो रक्त में हीम के स्तर को बढ़ाता है, यह पदार्थ मलेरिया परिजीवियों के लिए जहर है. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading. Sulphadoxine is an antibiotic which stops the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication.
