Histoglob Injection 1ml is a combination medicine used to prevent various allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis, eczema, urticaria, and generalized skin allergies. It works by producing protective antibodies (proteins) that neutralize the chemical messengers, which cause allergic reactions.

Histoglob Injection 1ml is given by your doctor or nurse. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you. You should also tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. Histoglob Injection 1ml should not be used in acute allergic attack.

This will improve the appearance of your skin and you may find that your mood and self-confidence improves as well. You should always take this medicine as it has been prescribed for you. Do not stop taking it without your doctor’s advice. This might cause unpleasant withdrawal symptoms.

How Histoglob Injection works

Histoglob Injection 1ml is a combination of three medicines: Human Normal Immunoglobulin, Histamine Dihydrochloride and Sodium Thiosulphate. It works by producing protective antibodies (proteins) that neutralise the chemical messengers, mainly histamine, released during allergic reactions.

Driving

Quick tips

  • You have been prescribed Histoglob Injection 1ml for the treatment of a wide variety of allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis, eczema, urticaria, generalised skin allergies, and migraine among others.
  • It may also be used as a preventive measure in children (where there is a family history of allergy) who are about to undergo removal of tonsils.
