Filariasis is a disease caused by round and thread like parasites. These parasites infect human body through the opening created by mosquito bites. फ्लोरोसिड इन्जेक्शन दो दवाओं का मिश्रण हैः सोडियम फ्लोराइड और प्रोकेन जो फाइलेरिया का इलाज करता है. सोडियम फ्लोराइड, फाइलेरिया फैलाने वाले कृमियों को मारता है.. प्रोकेन तंत्रिकाओं से मस्तिष्क तक जाने वाले दर्द के संकेतों को ब्लॉक करके काम करता है जिससे दर्द की संवेदना कम हो जाती है.
