- જો સિટાગ્લિપ્ટિન અથવા આ દવાના કોઈપણ ઘટક તત્ત્વ પ્રત્યે એલર્જીક (અતિસંવેદનશીલ) હોવ તો સિટાગ્લિપ્ટિન ટીકડીઓ લેવાનું શરુ કરવું નહીં અથવા ચાલુ રાખવી નહીં.
- જો તમને નીચેની કોઈપણ આડઅસરોનો અનુભવ થાય તો તમારા ડોકટરની સલાહ લેવી: પેટમાં દુખાવો, ઉબકા, ઊલટી, અથવા ભૂખ ઓછી લાગવી, ગંભીર એલર્જીક પ્રતિક્રિયાઓ જેમ કે ત્વચા પર ફોલ્લી, તાવ, સોજો અને શ્વાસ લેવામાં મુશ્કેલી.
નીચેનામાંથી કોઈપણ સ્થિતિઓના કેસમાં સિટાગ્લિપ્ટિન લેતા પહેલાં ડોકટરની સલાહને ધ્યાનમાં લેવી જોઈએ:
- પ્રકાર 1 ડાયાબિટીસ.
- ડાયાબિટીક કેટોએસિડોસિસ અથવા ડાયાબિટીક કોમા.
- કિડનીની સમસ્યાઓ અથવા યકૃતની સમસ્યાઓ.
- તીવ્ર ચેપ અથવા ડીહાઈડ્રેટ થવું.
- હૃદયનો હુમલો અથવા ગંભીર પરિભ્રમણની સમસ્યાઓ, જેમ કે આઘાત કે શ્વાસ લેવામાં મુશ્કેલીઓ.
- ટ્રાઈગ્લિસરાઈડનું ઊંચું સ્તર.
- મૂત્રાશયમાં પથરી.
- સ્વાદુપિંડનો સોજો (પેનક્રિયાટાઈટિસ).
