  • જો તમને ત્વચાની તીવ્ર એલર્જીક પ્રતિક્રિયાનો (સ્ટીવન્સ-જહોન્સન સિંડ્રોમ કે લેઇલ સિંડ્રોમ) ઇતિહાસ હોય તો એમ્બ્રોક્સોલ લેતાં પહેલાં તમારા ડોકટરની સલાહ લેવી.
  • જો તમને ત્વચા કે મ્યુકોસામાં (ભેજવાળી પેશી જે નાક, મોં, ફેફસા અને મૂત્ર તથા પાચન માર્ગની અંદરની બાજુના સ્તરો) કોઇપણ નુકસાન જણાય તો એમ્બ્રોક્સોલ લેવાનું ચાલુ રાખવું નહીં અને તત્કાલ તમારા ડોકટરનો સંપર્ક કરવો.
  • જો તમે એમ્બ્રોક્સોલ લઇ રહ્યા હોવ તો ઉધરસ દબાવી (એન્ટિટ્યુસિવ્સ) દેતી દવાઓ લેવાનું નિવારવું.
  • જો તમે સગર્ભા હોવ અથવા સગર્ભા બનવાનું આયોજન કરી રહ્યા હોવ તો એમ્બ્રોક્સોલ લેતાં પહેલાં તમારા ડોકટરની સલાહ લેવી.
  • જો તમે સ્તનપાન કરાવતા હોવ તો એમ્બ્રોક્સોલ લેતાં પહેલાં તમારા ડોકટરની સલાહ લેવી.
  • જો તમને યકૃત કે કિડનીની તીવ્ર સમસ્યાઓ હોય તો એમ્બ્રોક્સોલ લેતાં પહેલાં તમારા ડોકટરની સલાહ લેવી.<
  • તમને ડોઝ ઓછું કરવાનું કે ડોઝનો અંતરાલ વધારવાનું જરૂરી બની શકે.
  • સિલેએરી ડીસ્કિનેસિયા તરીકે ઓળખાતી બિમારી જેમાં હવાના માર્ગોની સાથે વાળ જેવી સંરચના જેને સિલિઆ કહેવાય છે તેમાં ખામી આવે છે અને મ્યુકસ સાફ કરવામાં મદદ કરતું નથી.
