Qutis 300mg Tablet is an antiparasitic medicine, used for the treatment of malaria. It may also be used to treat and prevent nighttime leg cramps. It works by killing the malaria causing parasite and stops the infection from spreading.

Qutis 300mg Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Take it with food to decrease the risk of stomach upset. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Take measures to reduce the chance of being bitten by mosquitoes like using insect repellent creams on parts of your body, not covered by clothing. Spray mosquito repellent to kill any mosquitoes that may have entered rooms in spite of screening. Wear light-colored and covered clothing when you are outside after sunset.

Some people may experience vomiting, deafness, headache, and dizziness as side effects of this medicine. Please consult your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration. Inform your doctor if you ever had fits (seizures) or any problems with your kidney, heart or liver.

Inform your doctor if you have diabetes as it can lower the sugar levels in the blood. If you are diabetic, you should monitor your blood sugar regularly. It may cause blurring of vision. Therefore, regular eye examinations are recommended while on treatment with this medicine. When used long term, your doctor may monitor the amounts of the different types of blood cells in your blood regularly. Inform your doctor if you have unexplained bruising or bleeding, sore throat, fever, or a general feeling of tiredness.

ક્વિનાઈનની સારવાર દરમિયાન તમારે લોહીમાં ગ્લુકોઝની સપાટી નિયમિત તપાસવી જોઇએ.
જો તમે સગર્ભા હોવ અથવા સગર્ભા બનવાનું આયોજન કરી રહ્યા હોવ અથવા સ્તનપાન કરાવતા હોવ તો તમારા ડોકટરને જણાવો.
જો ક્વિનાઈન કે તેના કોઈપણ ઘટક તત્વ અથવા મેફ્લોક્વિન કે ક્વિનીડાઈન કે તેના કોઈપણ ઘટક તત્વ પ્રત્યે એલર્જીક હોય તો તે ન લેવી.
લાંબા QT ઈન્ટરવલ (હૃદય વિકારમાં પરિણમતી હૃદયની અનિયમિત ઈલેક્ટ્રિકલ પ્રવૃત્તિ) ધરાવતાં દર્દીઓએ આ દવા ન લેવી.
ગ્લુકોઝ-6-ફોસ્ફેટ ડીહાઈડ્રોજીનેસ ન્યૂનતાથી પીડાતા દર્દીઓએ (વારસાગત વિકાર જેનાથી લાલ રક્તકોષોને અસર થાય) આ દવા ન લેવી.
માયસ્થેનિયા ગ્રેવિસ (જૂજ વિકાર જેમાં સ્નાયુની તીવ્ર નબળાઈ જણાય) થી પીડાતા હોવ તો લેવી નહીં.
જો દર્દીઓને આંખના ન્યુરિટિસ (આંખની ચેતાનો સોજો જેનાથી દૃષ્ટિમાં વિકાર થાય) હોય તો લેવી નહીં.
કાળાપાણીનો તાવ (મલેરિયાની જટિલતા), થ્રોમ્બોટિક થ્રોમ્બોસાયટોપેનિક પુરપુરા (જૂજ લોહીનો વિકાર) અથવા થ્રોમ્બોસાયટોપેનિયા (લોહીમાં પ્લેટલેટની અસાધારણ ઓછી સંખ્યા)ના ઇતિહાસવાળા દર્દીઓએ લેવી નહીં.
જો દર્દીઓને ઝણઝણાટી (કાનમાં ઘંટડી જેવો અવાજ સંભાળાવો) અથવા હેમેટ્યુરિયા (પેશાબમાં લોહી) ના દર્દીઓએ લેવી નહીં.

Initial symptoms of malaria are flu-like which include feeling hot and shivery, muscle pains, vomiting, headaches and diarrhea.
